Givenchy Fall Couture

Another fall couture collection that made me swoon was Givenchy. Beautiful. Just Beautiful. Alll in natural colours of creams, browns and golds in stunning fall length gowns. Just amazing! The model's are styled with centre parted heavy hair, thick brows and pale lips creates a juxtaposition against the luxurious gowns in natural shades. It makes my heart melt. It really does.

Dior Couture Fall Range

So I am back from holiday! Home life is not so shiny and exciting as being on holiday I must say. I was feeling ever so slightly depressed at my looming university workload and the usual back to reality check when I had a look at Dior's Couture Fall range. It definitely cheered me up, inspired by flowers it is could perk up anyones day! Beautiful use of colour, texture and volume to create flower like looks, some of the model's are even sporting cellophane as a head piece, they look like they are straight from the florists.

How To: The Hair Bow

This month's Australian vogue featured Rose Byrne on the cover with her hair in a gorgeous up do shaped like a bow. Here is a great youtube tutorial on how to do it with your own hair rather than the nasty, cheap looking hair pieces that Lady Gaga uses to achieve this look.

On a makeup note: the natural strong brows and minimal eyes teamed with the standout lipstick on the cover looks amazing!
